When I first got my Note 3 SM-9005 I was so excited. Then after a few
minutes of using it, I noticed some annoying things about it. First, it
heats up really fast. Right where the Camera lens is. Felt like I was
holding a hot compress pad. Then the video and camera screen has some
flickering going in it. I decided to bring it back to the network
provider where I got it. But then I decided to fix the problem myself
first. I simply did a factory reset which immediately solved the
overheating problem. The Note 3 still gets warm when it gobbles up some
gigahertz but not like before when it would just get warm by itself.
Installed some graphic monster games on it. It warms up for a while but
cools down immediately. Added some more HD games and it didn't bog down a
bit. Still gets warm but only minimal.
Next, the camera flicker. It seemed that the Wifi and the tethering
gives some sort of radio interference. Turning them off will solve this
problem.
The earphones that came with the
Note 3 totally sucked. Use a higher end model and get to experience a
better sound and to maximize the Note 3's sound effects.
The Note 3 is an elegant monster. It's big but subtle at the same time. I
use it for games, unbelievable clarity and speed. For web browsing via
LTE which is its best feature. Browsing is lightning fast on this one.
The built-in tools are usable too specially the sketchbook for galaxy.
Like it a lot. You'll never get bored with this phone.
